Mission

Become a "One-Stop Resource Center for Research in Cardiology" to guide members of the cardiology department who need help in all issues related to all levels of research and publication.
Promoting Investigator Initiated Research (IIR), Industry Sponsored Research (ISR) and clinical registries aims to increase awareness of the need and importance of clinical research in the health care system.
Supporting the development of the heart center at Sultan Idris Shah Hospital, Serdang in the clinical research aspect.
Facilitating collaboration with local, regional, and international research organizations in an effort to achieve national clinical research excellence such as CRC and CRM.
Preparation of periodic research reports and departmental publications.

About Us

The Department of Cardiology at Sultan Idris Shah Hospital, Serdang is a medical sub-specialty department under the auspices of the Ministry of Health Malaysia. In line with the department's desire to provide efficient, effective and quality services to patients, the department also actively conducts ethical and quality clinical research to improve patient health with the slogan "Research that Matters to Patients".
